So I’ve finally got another confirmation that this should be the last kick of the can. Pass the exam pass the course. Pass the course finish the program!
I can smell freedom!
On a completely different note: the Matrix people meet Fast and the Furious sound engineers and came up with a new version of Speed Racer!

Needless to say, I’m excited for it.

So there was a time when I wouldn’t even have bothered trying to play nice. Sadly this time I did. And the result is that I’m spending the evening getting my docs in order for a meeting with the head honcho. Lesson learned: Benefit of the doubt is a waste of time. If you think they’re trying to screw you then they are.

I will say that I disagree with the above author’s comments about Gaiman. I will also say that had I walked in expecting an animated film my reaction might have been different.
If this had been released before LotR then maybe it wouldn’t have been such a let down, but after LotR I felt saddened that everything was animated. I was looking forward to a beautiful costumes, horses, etc style film. I wasn’t expecting accuracy to the original subject matter and I’m not even disappointed with what did get released, but I did walk out feeling like I has watched someone else play a video game and had been mildly bored by the process.
Thoughts anyone?
