Tie for most annoying thing in my life right now: Winter Cold and Auto Negotiation
So the big move is done. Instead of one snug floor in one building they now sprawl over three floors in another building.
Cisco Core Switches are a pain in the arse. There auto negotiation and ’smart ports’ cost us a lot of time this move.
On the other hand - it’s winter in Stoon this run. I’m glad its the last run because I do not have any confidence in my ability to survive January. Brrr… I’m sure I didn’t authorize this.
Being optimistic I have already bought myself my carrot for completing this last sprint and so may soon be visiting an area near you some time between Jan and Mar.

Deciding what it means to be an adult….
So this comic made me laugh quite some time ago.
But a friend recently linked this on her blog and it made me wonder. Just what weird and wonderful stuff would I do with a house….
Also what weird and wonderful stuff would *you* dear reader do with an entire house? And what use is being a ‘grown up’ if we cannot have any fun along the way.

Socializing…
Went to the Hose last night. Shouldn’t have danced as much as I did. The DJ took some convincing, but the black cat did her thing and wrapped him around her finger thus producing music we could dance to.

And that just made me laugh.

So the presentation is done. Has anyone else noticed that it never rains, but it pours?

Is it arriving in Stoon that makes me tired?
Or is it all the work I do in Calgary before I bolt out of the city?
Either way I’m in town for a couple of weeks this time so I’d love to see people…
