Lots of things to write about, but no wrist power.

Instead I post an entertaining quiz which came from another blog.

You scored as A classic novel. Almost everyone showers praise upon you for your depth and enduring relevance. According to your acolytes, everything you say is timeless, erudite and meaingful. Of course, none of them actually listen to you. Nobody listens to you at all, but it’s fashionable to claim you as a friend. Fond of obscure words, antiquated notions and libraries, you never have a problem finding someone to hang out with. The fact that they end up using you to balance their kitchen tables is an unfortunate side effect, but you’re used to being used for others’ benefit. Oh the burden of being Great.

Also it turns out that I saved my Thanksgiving and The Anniversary of my Passport posts as private for some reason. So I’ll switch them to public soon.

Howdy all – for those in Canada celebrating Thanksgiving – Happy Thanksgiving.

For the rest – Happy Artificial Holiday.

Were I in Canada celebrating the arbitrarily dated holiday I’d be thankful that:

a) I’m almost done here
b) That I came here
c) That I had lots of wonderful friends and family encouraging me
d) That Scott is a night owl and therefore usually awake when I need to chat with someone at the end of a long day

I can’t help but think of thanksgiving as a fake holiday – I mean at least the Christmas season, for all its commercialization, has not one but several holidays during that period. Rather weird thoughts I guess….

Edit: And the best explanation I’ve seen in colour and online yet…

So today I was flying home from Indonesia and I realized that my passport is a year old today.

It’s amazing how time flies.

Random Facts Time!

Countries who’ve marked my Passport: 9
Clean Pages Remaining: 6

The fact that I may never have to look at that horrible picture again ever soon – priceless.
